Do you guys think split screens are optimal for day trading? If so, any ideas on what to get?

i dont think you need it unless your quotes/charting system is separate from your order system.. if everything is built into one platform, you should be good to go on 1 screen unless youre doing multiple things like chatting and looking at porn lol

man, I need one monitor for the chatroom, one for the streaming video (ahem of CNBC of course), one to decipher the option symbol, and another for charting

I have 4 going and found myself using my Ipod to email at the same time. I am so used to having multiple screens I can't go with one, but I have seen Ken trade with one pretty comfortably so it's a matter of personal preference. Of course my eyes have been around a lot longer than Kens so having those big screens and large print is a virtual necessity.
