PostSubject: Panic   Tue Sep 16, 2008 5:47 pm

It seems like panic reigns these markets. Panic, naturally on the downside: "Oh no, I'm losing." And Panic, on the upside "Oh no, I'm missing out."

I think Monday was a panic on the downside day. Today wasn't really a panic on the upside day, but we recovered from our Monday panic.

There also seems to be a bit of a Rhythm to the emotions. I think if you can lock into the tempo, you can time your trading better.

Anyone else have any insights?

i think it was just a realization of what should have happened yesterday. the market is just like everyday life, its moved by greed and fear. i wouldnt be in too much of a rush to go long until we get maybe one more strong down day.

its all the news driving the markets up and down. the only thing i'm worried about iswhether the news is trying to cover up worse information or is this it?
